PARIS, June 23 (Reuters) - Iran has bought 80,000 tonnes of
Russian milling wheat at its tenders, split in two purchases of
40,000 tonnes, European traders said on Monday.
The wheat, for shipment in August, had a quality of 11.5
percent protein, traders said. They declined to provide a price
for the purchase.
One trader said the sellers were U.S. agribusiness giant
Cargill and Ameropa, a Swiss grain and fertilizer
trading company.
